The inaugural Long Beach Bluegrass Festival is Saturday, May 4th!  Join us at the Bandshell at Recreation Park for a full day of bluegrass bands, food trucks, beer garden, jamming and all the fun you can stuff into a day… FREE, courtesy of Friends of Rec Park Bandshell & California Bluegrass Association! Some news you can hardly wait to share! We’re thrilled to announce Honey Buckets will play a ‘tweener on the main stage at the 2023 Pickin’ in the Pines Bluegrass & Acoustic Music Festival! But wait, there’s more! We’re also giving a workshop on rocking a single mic… and you know that means we’re also bringing our (in?)famous late-night jam camp to South Campground!

Pickin’ in the Pines is one of the best music festivals, anywhere! It has it all… excellent line-up, beautiful campground, great weather and the friendliest folks you’ll ever find. We’re so honored to play a part and hope you’ll join us September 15-17 in Flagstaff, Arizona for an unforgettable weekend!

We’re home after helping kick off an outstanding new festival in Arizona. The inaugural ABA Bluegrass Roundup was a hit! Our love & appreciation to KPIG 107.5 FM & Choo Choo Charlie for our FIRST radio play and shout out… Bluegrass in My Fridge and ATOW, our debut singles, during last night’s Alternate Roots show!  Pretty exciting stuff for a little SoCal bluegrass band!  You can hear both songs now on all streaming services.

Bluegrass fans, you’re missing out on a spectacular weekly show if you’re not listening to Alternate Roots every Saturday night at 8pm PST.  Charlie plays a deep mix of grass we all know and love, as well as emerging bands like us!  His grandfather, Cousin Al, hosted the Sunday night bluegrass show for decades, while Charlie grew up working at the station.  Real, living bluegrass history worth supporting, folks!  You can tune in anywhere online at KPIG.com with a low-cost account, 107.5 FM near the Bay area/Freedom or 94.9 FM near San Luis Obispo.

We’re excited to announce Honey Buckets are playing at the 40th Annual Prescott Bluegrass Festival in beautiful Prescott, Arizona!  Come join us at one of the best FREE bluegrass festivals in the world.

We’re playing two sets on Saturday June 26th at 12 pm and 4 pm, and one set on Sunday June 27th at 12pm.  Stay tuned for more info about the line-up and camping.  Hope to see you there!

Honey Buckets are excited and grateful to be invited back to the 43rd Annual Huck Finn Jubilee – Live Stream!  Be sure to catch the stream on October 25th, 1-6pm PST.  What a thrill it was to play our hometown festival last year and we hope you’ll all join us again this year, keeping the festival experience alive.  This will be a donation-based event with live performances as well as some classics from the archive, interviews, prizes (including an Eastman guitar and mandolin), and more.
